GC was independently received two inputs from entorhinal cortex. However, how those information is integration is unclear. Our study is the integration mechanism of two inputs to MD and DD, the frequency responses of MD and DD of GC were measured using rat hippocampal slices. In addition, computer simulation was performed using a multi compartment model of the GC by using NUERON simulator. This model was fixed by parameter fitting for the physiological data.
