Using SIR model, an influenza epidemic in a boy boarding school have been analyzed numerically. The simulation results show that the value and the time to peak of infection numbers has matched with the actual data. In addition, the numerical analysis has suggested the possibility of the accurate prediction of an infectious disease epidemic. |
