The flip teaching has been practiced in physics lectures in the faculty of engineering since 2016. Students who take the class, has prepared for taking lectures by viewing video lessons, beforehand. As a result of trial and error, the video lesson viewing has been checked by a preliminarily imposed homework and the understanding of the lecture has been confirmed by a short test. The flip teaching was evaluated as a good lesson by about 50% to 75 % of the students who took it, but was judged the opposite evaluation by about 20 % to 30% of the students. Moreover, about 50% to 60% of the students have considered that the flip teaching can deepen their understanding of the lectures. About 20% to 30% of the students, however, have seemed that the usual teaching is better for understanding of the lectures. |
